In May 2022, before the release of the third season, it was confirmed the series would end after four seasons, possibly aiming for a 2023 date. A spin-off starring Michael Peña as Ding Chavez is in development.

In October 2022, it was announced that the second season will be its final season and will consist of 16 episodes, split into two parts. The first part of the second season is scheduled to be released on December 2, 2022, and the second part is set to be released in 2023.
