The premise of The Rookie is that after a life-altering incident, John Nolan decides to pursue his dream of becoming a LAPD officer. The only issue is that he is in his 40s, making him the oldest rookie on the force. He not only has to adjust to his new career but convince his colleagues that this isn’t just a midlife crisis gone a bit too far.Three seasons in the books, it is fair to say that John has done that. Now we get to see him and his fellow team of officers take on some of LA’s biggest criminals. SPOILER ALERT, this includes the season three finale developments that saw crime boss Sandra de La Cruz, aka La Fiera, escape custody and kidnap Angela before her improtu wedding to Wes.This is where season four will pick up, as the promo for The Rookie has the team locating Angela at a compound in Guatemala and heading down to rescue her. The story will seemingly pace forward from the epic finale of the third season. In the gripping cliffhanger finale of the third season, we see Gary taking matters into his own hands, attempting to teach Peter a lesson. The situation looks quite awful, and the fourth season’s premiere will perhaps end the glaring questions of the fans. We shall see whether or not Gary ends up killing Peter. The outcome of the incident will directly affect Gary’s budding romance with Darcy, so we shall see if they move to Lenox together.After the setback following the closure of Someday, Regina will have some difficulty getting back on her feet, but the course of her journey will be one worth following. The situation with Theo brings the estranged couple together at the end of the third season, and we shall see how the agreement between the two regarding the custody of Theo pans out. Stumptown hade premiär 2019 och får nu en nypremiär i Sverige på Disney+ den 11 augusti. Serien blev förnyad för en säsong 2 men var en av de första serierna att få ett omvänt beslut pga Covid-19.

In May 2020, the series was renewed for a second season.[3] In September 2020, it was announced that ABC had reversed the renewal decision and canceled the series after one season, as production delays caused by the COVID-19 pandemic meant the series would not be ready until April 2021. ABC Studios is reportedly trying to sell the series to another network or streaming site.[4]

While Rebel isn’t ultimately based on Erin Brockovich, this new show will tell a similar story. Specifically, Rebel will follow Annie ”Rebel” Bello, ”a blue-collar legal advocate without a law degree.” The title character is described as ”a funny, messy, brilliant and fearless woman who cares desperately about the causes she fights for and the people she loves.” As noted, when Bello applies herself to a challenge, especially in a fight she believes in, the legal advocate will win at ”almost any cost.” Certainly, fans can look forward to seeing all the extremes that Rebel Bello goes to in order to come out on top. -Cinemablend.com
