Interestingly enough, ”Blue Bloods” Season 13 will also feature some familiar faces who haven’t appeared on the show for several years. Stacy Keach is set to guest star as Frank’s friend Archbishop Kevin Kearns, a character who hasn’t appeared since Season 8 (via The Futon Critic). Additionally, as Moynahan spoke about with TV Insider, Peter Hermann is back as Erin’s ex-husband Jack Boyle, and the DA hopeful will have several encounters with him over the course of her campaign. ”He offers to introduce her to somebody with political and financial support,” Moynahan said in the interview. ”That opens the door to conversations that bring them closer, but now that’s she’s running for office, I think she’s waiting. Your private life is exposed no matter what it is.” However things turn out, hopefully the season addresses the concerns of ”Blue Bloods” fans who are fed up with the treatment of Jack.

When Season 20 picks up, it will be at full speed. In usual NCIS fashion, the Season 19 finale ended on an ominous cliffhanger. Agent Parker had been framed for murder. Even though the FBI was hot on his trail, he went into hiding with his team promising to clear his name. Unfortunately, the FBI wasn’t the only person looking for Parker. Through some clearly nefarious circumstances, Parker’s ex-wife had reentered the picture and went into hiding with him. Then, in the closing seconds of the finale, she answered a text saying, ”It’s done. I have him.” Thanks to the synopsis of the opening episode (via Cinemablend), fans know that she is in league with the infamous Raven — who will be the major villain to start the season. While proving Parker’s innocence will be a major part of Season 20’s early episodes, the rest of the season also promises to focus on characters’ personal lives — like the budding relationship between Jimmy Palmer and Agent Knight. In an interview with Parade.com, NCIS showrunner Steven D. Binder “We’ll be seeing their non-work life a little more. I think one of the cores of the show is the cases. The show’s called NCIS, it’s about the Naval Criminal Investigative Service. But anyone who watches the show knows that it’s really about the people on the show.” Additionally, NCIS fans can look forward to more crossovers with NCIS: Hawai’i. In fact, the season opener will show Tennant’s Hawai’i team helping catch the Raven, and Hawai’i’s opening episode will continue that storyline as the DC crew travels to Oahu. –Cbr.com

As the trailer makes it clear, Season 6 will cut to the chase and pick up right after the explosive Season 5 finale, when the Bravo team got ambushed in Mali. Now we will finally discover how the fight for their lives went down, as well as who made it out alive. One thing is certain, though: None of them left the RPG ambush unscathed. Magnum P.I. visades under 4 säsonger på CBS, bolaget valde i maj att avsluta serien.

In May 2022, the series was canceled after four seasons, following the network’s failure to reach a new agreement with rightsholder NBCUniversal, despite being a Top 25 show in viewers.

According to Deadline, the 20 episodes will be divided into two seasons, bringing the reboot’s run to 96 episodes, with an option for more. The clock was running out on the action drama, with CBS Studios, which co-produces the series with Universal TV, not extending the options on the cast, which were set to expire at the end of Thursday, June 30.
However, with NBC agreeing to pick up the series, cast members are now signing on and finalizing deals to return for the upcoming seasons. In addition to Hernandez, the show also stars Perdita Weeks, Zachary Knighton, Stephen Hill, Tim Kang, and Amy Hill. Showrunner Eric Guggenheim is expected to return, alongside executive producers Justin Lin, John Davis, and John Fox. According to Deadline, the series will continue to be a co-production between Universal TV and CBS Studios.
